You have read the guide. You know what the form is. And you still do not want to be the one writing it.
That is not a failing. Most people who come to us are doing this once, under a deadline, about something that matters, and the writing is the part that keeps them awake. The form is free. The words are the hard part.
So we will write it for you
You send us what you already have — the claim form, the order, the letters, the emails, the photographs of paperwork. We draft the document. You read it, you check every date and figure, you sign it, and you file it.
It is your document from beginning to end. Your name is on it, your signature goes at the bottom, and you decide whether it goes anywhere. We never write to the other side, and we never file anything for you.
What you get back
- A document drafted to the courts’ own presentation rules — A4 with the margin the rules require, the case number on every page, pages numbered consecutively, numbered paragraphs, and where one is needed, a statement of truth in the exact prescribed words.
- Every date, figure and deadline drawn from your papers rather than assumed — and where something cannot be confirmed from what you have sent, it is marked for you to fill rather than guessed.
- A plain note of what to do with it: where it goes, what goes with it, and by when.
Who is doing the drafting
Somebody who has run these cases through these courts, working alongside our own drafting system. Not a solicitor, and not a law firm — we do not represent anyone, we do not give legal advice, and we cannot tell you what to do. What we can do is put your facts into the form and the language a court expects, which is the part almost nobody finds easy.
What it costs
It depends on the document, so we look before we quote. Send us the papers and we will tell you what it would cost and how long it will take, before you commit to anything. If it is something you would be better doing yourself with Chris for a fraction of the price, we will say so.
And if there is a free route that fits you better — Citizens Advice, Support Through Court, or Help with Fees for the court fee itself — we will point you at it. We would rather lose the work than take money from someone who did not need to spend it.
Send us your papers
Email hello@elitigant.com with what has happened and what you have been sent. One paragraph is enough to start. We will tell you whether we can help, what it would cost, and how long it would take.
eLitigant CIC is a Community Interest Company (No. 16566612). We are not a law firm and do not provide legal advice. You remain the author of your documents and are responsible for checking them and filing them with the court.
